Home Sale Trends Show Stregnth During the Holiday Season
In South Orange County in the last three days 80 homes have been sold – which means that 160 “parties” (meaning buyers and sellers – be they individuals, families, investors, or groups of invesors) worked hard to negotiate a deal on a home in South Orange County during the last weekend shopping weekend before Chaunika and Christmas. You have to understand that this is a sign that homes are starting to move. And in all price ranges. Seven of these homes for sale in South Orange County that opened escrow in the last three days were listed for under $200,000.00. Eleven – yes, 11, were listed for sale for over $1,000,000.00 – one of these beach front homes in Laguna Beach was listed for $5,600,000.00.
Don’t make the mistake of letting the Holidays slow down your home search process. There are great deals on home for sale in all of Orange County – and currently record low interest rates. And there are motivated sellers – be they banks or real people with equity in their home. Go for it!
